One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
Google aims to build products that organize the world's information and make it universally accessible to our users. As a Product Manager at Google, you could be working on new technologies, platforms, consumer facing products, and/or enterprise systems. The end goal will be to match you with the team that best aligns with your interests, experience, and where you will have the most impact.
Responsibilities
• Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and ongoing execution for all Sites efforts. This includes a wide variety of current projects including: a large-scale migration from classic Sites to new Sites, the launch of a new email layouts editor, and continued definition and development of new features in Google Sites.
• Understand markets, competition, and user requirements in depth - both for Enterprise customers and Consumer/EDU/Enterprise end users.
• Work cross-functionally with stakeholders including design, research, marketing, and legal.
• Work with cross-Product Area partners as needed to align on product roadmap and engineering support.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
2 years of experience in product management, engineering, and technology strategy roles
Experience working on enterprise/SAAS products
Preferred qualifications:
Experience identifying problems, using a quantitative or qualitative approach to answer questions or create solutions, and manipulating data
Experience collaborating on projects involving multiple teams or managing ongoing relationships with clients
Customer-first attitude and demonstrated experience identifying and addressing customer needs
Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and improve product strategy based on research, data, and industry trends
